Declaration of the Caribbean Regional Coordinating Committee of the Pan African Federalist Movement 

Barbados December 16th 2020

We urge all militant Pan Africanists, African and Caribbean Governments and join those who have already condemned the recent incendiary deaths of African people, including many migrants, in Barcelona, Spain.  We call on the Government of Spain, a call thus far unheeded, to investigate the deaths and missing persons for the arson of a building which housed African families, both Spanish citizens and migrant people as well as the African Cultural Center of Barcelona. This is the third, in what appears to be a series of deadly arson attacks on Black people in Catalonia Spain, where reparatory justice for African people has been consistently denied.

The Caribbean RCC has been in the vanguard, along with Latin America and the rest of the Diaspora, pushing the Pan African Federalist Movement and Global Pan African Movement in Spain to embrace the just struggle for reparations for the descendants of the kidnapped and captured prisoners of war, enslaved and forced to labor and build the plantations of the New World.

We support and call on ALL Pan Africanists to support the struggle of African People in Spain for Reparatory Justice!!
